What it Means to Be Human

We discussed what it means to be human and here is what the kids had to say:

• we are born to make mistakes
• we want to be knowledgeable and learn
• humans need to be part of a community
• we are not great at everything
• we are born to be curious
• humans want to make an impact
• we all want to have friends
• we all want to keep this world right
• we all want to make this world better
• human nature is to have responsibilities
• it is human nature to pollute
• humans want to make good choices
• we all have emotions and everybody "loses" it once in a while
• we all want to have a happy life
• we want to get along
• we want to make the best of things
• we want to make the next generation better
• we all die when its time to
• we all lie when we have to
• we all want to discover
• we all want to be treated fairly
• being human means fighting for what you believe is right
